In the news: Concussion research at Robarts

The groundbreaking concussion research underway at Robarts was recently highlighted in an article by the New York Daily News. The article featured hockey legend Eric Lindros and shared his passion for promoting the work of Robarts scientist Arthur Brown, PhD.

“While many will talk about the importance of research into concussion, Eric does so much more than talk,” Brown told the Daily News. “He immediately shared our vision and passion to develop new therapeutics for concussion and brain injury, and rather than just ‘sit on the bench,’ he became a partner with us opening doors and securing us much-needed support.

“Eric’s determination to strive for the goal of treatment and understanding of concussion is an inspiration to us and keeps us motivated in what is a difficult road to climb – research.”
