New adventures in fibrinolysis and metastasis – August 10, 2021
Michael Boffa, PhD
Associate Professor, Biochemistry
Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University
I am a biochemist by training and inclination, yet my research program has led me to integrate this molecular perspective with everything from cell biology to clinical science. In this seminar, I will present the latest findings from my group, working on my twin passions of TAFI and lipoprotein(a). I will lead you on a journey from molecular models to mice and from enzyme kinetics to epidemiology, taking the time to see the insights along the way.
Dr. Boffa will be available for informal meetings after his seminar to discuss his work and explore potential collaboration. Please contact Rebecca Nash if you wish to organize a meeting.
