MRI Bookings
Booking the MRI Scanner
In order to book TIRF's 3T MRI scanner and/or time within the facility, please email mrbookings@robarts.ca.

The following information is required when booking scan time through mrbookings@robarts.ca.

Anyone looking to operate the MRI system must contain both Level 1 and 2 Security Access for the Translational Imaging Research Facility.
NOTE: All human and/or assisted scanning must be operated by the Translational Imaging Research Facility CMRTO certified MRI Technologist. All others will be denied the request.

* Walk-On rate applies ONLY to requests made no more than 1 hour prior to the requested scan time

Cancellation Policy
When cancelling a booked MRI, a minimum of 48 hours is required in order to avoid charges.
If the MRI booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the scan time, but with at least 12 hours’ notice, a charge of $50.00 per hour will apply to the original booking.
If the MRI booking is cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice of the scan time, the original scan time will be billed in full.
If an Investigator wishes to transfer their booked scan time to another study or Investigator, at least 24 hours’ notice must be provided.
NOTE: All scan times must be cancelled through mrbookings@robarts.ca.
