J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine

Call for Nominations for the 2020 Taylor Prize

As Chair of the Selection Committee for the J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine, made possible through the generosity of the C.H. Stiller Foundation, I am soliciting nominations for the 2020 J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine.

J. Allyn Taylor, founding Chair of the Board of Robarts Research Institute, was a widely respected Canadian business leader, a person who, throughout his lifetime, demonstrated a deep regard and passionate involvement in health care matters in Canada.

The 2020 Taylor Prize will be granted to a scientist who has made outstanding contributions in the area of Research & Innovation in the Treatment of Diabetes. The recipient of the prize will receive $25,000 and a classic medallion bearing the likeness of J. Allyn Taylor.

I would value your help in selecting this year’s outstanding scientist in the field of Research & Innovation in the Treatment of Diabetes. Nominations should be sent directly to me in electronic format, with a short summary of the nominee’s contributions along with a current curriculum vitae. The closing date for nominations is May 1, 2020.

Yours sincerely,

Dr. David Litchfield
