Meet and hear from stem cell research expert, Dr. Rudolf Jaenisch, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as he is presented with the 2011 J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine. The J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine is proudly supported by Robarts Research Institute and The C.H. Stiller Memorial Foundation.
And finally, to top off our celebration we're pleased to present an inspiring keynote address by Michael J. Fox, O.C.
Diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson's disease in 1991, Michael J. Fox is committed to the campaign for increased Parkinson's research. In 2000, he launched The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research to raise much-needed research funding and awareness for Parkinson's disease. He wholeheartedly believes that researchers will pinpoint the cause of Parkinson's and uncover a cure within our lifetime.
