The 2012 Leaders in Innovation Dinner celebrated groundbreaking spinal cord research at Robarts Research Institute. We were proud to present Dr. V. Reggie Edgerton with the 2012 J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine and recognize his and Robarts outstanding work in spinal cord injury. Lynne Weaver, Greg Dekaban, Arthur Brown, Paula Foster, and their dedicated teams have made significant breakthroughs providing new hope for improved neurological outcomes enhancing the quality of life for people living with a spinal cord injury.
The evening was capped off as Heather Hiscox, special guest Alec Baldwin and Dr. Michael J. Strong took centre stage for an animated conversation focusing on research, education, politics and so much more.
