The Division 4 Kiwanis clubs (including clubs such as West Lorne, Tillsonburg, Lord Elgin, Rodney, Ridgetown, North London, St. Thomas and Golden K) have been generous supporters of Robarts since the Institute’s inception, raising almost $500,000 in unrestricted support. In addition, many individual Kiwanians have made personal commitments, supporting a wide range of research. On June 10, 139 golfers participated in the 20th annual Kiwanis Ridgetown Golf Day to support Robarts. Proceeds from the tournament, in addition to club donations, totaled almost $25,000. This was matched by a generous donation of $25,000 from Bill and Lynne Gray. Bill is a past Kiwanian and President of L.H. Gray & Sons Limited/Gray Ridge Egg Farms.Sadly, Eb Goldhawk (pictured above), the Ridgetown Kiwanian who organized the annual Kiwanis Ridgetown Golf Day for the past 20 years, passed away suddenly on July 15. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown for 53 years, serving as president twice.  A passionate champion for Robarts and for medical research, Eb will be missed.
