Video: Exploring 3D Ultrasound Technology

It is a true example of innovation in action. For the most recent episode of SchulichMedDent Live, we were on location at Robarts Research Institute in Aaron Fenster's lab to show how 3D ultrasound technology is improving care for patients and providing important health benefits for individuals and populations.

Fenster, PhD, has been a scientist at Western University for 30 years, and during that time has developed revolutionary imaging technology that has resulted in 51 patents issued or pending, and he has mentored more than 100 students and trainees. We get an up-close look at how 3D ultrasound technology is being applied clinically to help treat gyneacological and liver cancers as well as improving monitoring for premature babies.
